Grand Hotel Flekkefjord
Since 1897, Grand Hotell has provided travellers in Flekkefjord with luxurious accommodation and delicious dining experiences.
Among white wooden houses in cosy streets, you are invited in through an elegant entrance, under a stylish lamp that was the very first street lamp in Flekkefjord.
The hotel is located where the old town, known as Hollenderbyen, begins. The area is right in the centre and most of Flekkefjord's rich offerings can be found within a short walk of the hotel.
Honourable and modern
The hotel is built in classic Swiss style with octagonal towers and has 29 rooms in various sizes and categories. All rooms are individually and tastefully decorated.
The venerable style has made the building one of Flekkefjord's most photographed motifs, and in recent years the hotel has undergone extensive modernisation. The old soul is still intact, but behind the facade lies a state-of-the-art hotel with all the necessary amenities.
The restoration work that brought the building back to its original design resulted in the hotel being awarded the honorary award, the "Building Ethics Award" in 2018.
At home or at work
Our guests find peace and quiet at the hotel, and the facilities are ideal for a romantic romantic weekend or a pleasant family holiday. At the same time, many of our visitors come in connection with work.
We have flexible conference rooms that can be easily adapted to both large and small groups. We organise seminars, Christmas parties, weddings and confirmations. We organise accommodation, food and other catering, so that you can find the peace and quiet you need.
The hotel also has its own pub in the basement, which can be a cosy place to round off the evening.
Grand Gastro
You don't have to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy the food in our restaurant. Grand Gastro is one of Flekkefjord's most popular eateries and the food philosophy is really quite simple. We use the best Norwegian ingredients based on seasons and availability, to serve flavourful, popular and honest food.
